Greek-American presenter Maria Menounos has shared reflections on her health struggles, motherhood, and her connection to her Greek roots in a recent interview with Gala magazine. Regarding her health, Menounos noted a shift in perspective, moving from a desire for perfect medical results to finding gratitude in daily life and the ability to live and work despite ongoing challenges.
Menounos also discussed how motherhood has redefined her concept of happiness, emphasizing her desire to lead by example for her daughter, Athena, by choosing peace and purpose over pressure and perfection.
Additionally, Menounos expressed her honor at being selected by the Olympic Movement to serve as the master of ceremonies for the Olympic Flame lighting ceremonies in Ancient Olympia and the Panathenaic Stadium in 2028.
