Maria Renilda Amaral Pires, mother of Brazilian Federal Deputy Tabata Amaral, is in serious condition in the intensive care unit (ICU) following an accident in São Paulo. The incident occurred on Saturday during a campaign event at Parque da Independência, where Maria Renilda suffered a fall and hit her head.

Following the injury, she underwent emergency surgery and was admitted to the São Camilo Hospital network. Tabata Amaral stated that while her mother is currently in stable condition, her status remains serious as she awaits further medical evaluations. The deputy expressed gratitude to the medical team, specifically mentioning Dr. Fernando Gomes, and requested prayers from the public.
