Maria Rosa Sans Foundation awards new scholarships in Garrotxa

The Maria Rosa Sans Foundation, supported by Noel Alimentaria, has awarded three new university scholarships to students from the Garrotxa region for the 2026-2027 academic year. This marks the ninth edition of the program, which was established in 2018.

Since its inception, the foundation has provided support to a total of 29 students, allocating more than 250,000 euros in grants. The foundation's president, Joan Boix, stated that the initiative aims to ensure talent is not limited by a lack of opportunity and to allow students to focus solely on their studies.

The scholarship recipients for this year include Aisatu Gumaneh Gumaneh, who will pursue a double degree in Industrial Engineering and Business Administration at the University of Girona, and Dante Juan Raviña Corestein. The award ceremony was held in Olot and attended by local institutional representatives, including the first deputy mayor of Olot and the president of the Garrotxa County Council.
