Maria Serena Salvemini to perform with OLES in Lecce

Violinist Maria Serena Salvemini will perform as the soloist for the Orchestra Sinfonica di Lecce e del Salento (OLES) on Monday, August 17, at the Chiostro dei Teatini in Lecce.

The program, titled ‘Vivaldi. Le quattro stagioni – Il violino prodigio’, features a full performance of Antonio Vivaldi’s ‘The Four Seasons’. The evening will begin with a string divertimento composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in 1772.

Salvemini, a 20-year-old violinist from Puglia, is an award-winning performer who has received the Golden Medal with Honours at the Vienna International Music Competition. Her previous performances include appearances at the Philharmonie in Berlin and the Gewandhaus in Leipzig.
