Poland's Sikorski claims NATO could quickly defeat Russia

Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski stated during the Yalta European Strategy meeting in Kyiv that NATO could defeat Russia quickly in the event of an attack. He emphasized that the alliance possesses overwhelming air superiority, citing a capacity of approximately 2,500 aircraft, which would allow for a decisive victory even without United States assistance.

Sikorski further suggested that European NATO forces could strike Russia's energy infrastructure more efficiently than Ukraine has. He claimed that while Ukraine took six months to disable half of Russia's refining capacity, NATO could potentially destroy the remaining half within six weeks.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova responded by accusing Sikorski of 'Russophobia of the brain.' Meanwhile, former US President Donald Trump expressed a different view, advising Ukraine to avoid attacking Russian fuel resources to prevent global diesel shortages.
