Maria Zimmermann discusses autism spectrum and her new book

Textile artist, graphic designer, and author Maria Zimmermann discusses her experiences with the autism spectrum in a feature for SRF 2 Kultur. After discovering she is on the spectrum at age 30, Zimmermann underwent an intensive period of exploration that resulted in her first book, ‘Anders nicht falsch’ (Not Wrong, Just Different), published by Kommode Verlag.

Zimmermann, a graduate of the Zurich University of the Arts, describes the spectrum as a multi-dimensional space rather than a linear scale. Her work includes textile art under the label ‘Alles wird gut’, as well as contributions to album covers and various design projects.
