Several mariachi ensembles are scheduled to perform free concerts in Mexico to celebrate the Fiestas Patrias.

In Mexico City, Mariachi 2000, led by Cutberto Pérez, will perform at the Centro Nacional de las Artes (CENART) on September 11. The group, which is known for its long-term collaboration with singer Luis Miguel, will present a repertoire including boleros and rancheras.

In Guanajuato, the Mariachi Universitario del Campus Guanajuato of the Universidad de Guanajuato will hold a free performance at the Teatro Principal on September 24. The event will feature soprano Sindy Gutiérrez and the Ballet Silao, Danza y Canto ‘El Folklor’, celebrating Mexican musical roots.
