Mariachi music featured in Mexico City concert and Mérida festival

Mexican musical traditions are being showcased through various high-profile performances in Mexico and Spain. In Mexico City, the concert 'Así suena México' is set to take place at the Centro Cultural Ollin Yoliztli. The event aims to blend the energy of mariachi with orchestral arrangements, featuring over 90 artists including the Mariachi Caballeros de México. The repertoire includes iconic pieces such as 'Cielito lindo' and tributes to Juan Gabriel and José José.

In Mérida, Spain, the Mariachi Femenil Nuevo Tecalitlán performed at the Feria de Mérida. The group brought traditional ranchera music to the Arco de Trajano, performing with guitars, trumpets, and violins to connect Mexican musical heritage with the Spanish capital.
