Mariager hosts free screening of Nordic climate documentary

The Den Gamle Biograf in Mariager will host a free screening of the documentary film ‘ILDEN, VANDET, JORDEN, LUFTEN’ on Wednesday, September 2, at 19:00. The film explores how climate change and nature's warnings are being felt in daily life across four Nordic communities in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and the Faroe Islands.

One of the Danish locations featured in the documentary is the island of Skarø. To connect the film's themes to local action, employees from Mariagerfjord Municipality will provide a presentation regarding the municipality's specific climate adaptation measures. The event is a collaborative effort between Mariagerfjord Libraries, the Mariager Film Club, and the Danish Society for Nature Conservation for Mariagerfjord.
