Marian Godină resigns from Romanian Police after 20 years
Marian Godină, a well-known influencer and police officer, has announced his resignation from the Romanian Police after nearly 20 years of service. Godină, who graduated from the ‘Vasile Lascăr’ Police Agents School in Câmpina two decades ago, stated that he still had approximately 14 years remaining until retirement.
In a social media announcement, Godină explained that his priorities have shifted since becoming a father. He noted a growing preference for peace and family time over the adrenaline of dangerous missions. While acknowledging that staying in the force would have provided financial stability and a guaranteed pension, he expressed a desire to focus on writing, personal projects, and his children.
Reflecting on his career, Godină expressed gratitude for the experiences that shaped him, noting that his professional life provided the material for his books and personal growth. He described the decision as a pursuit of a new path, stating that while he is leaving the force, he will always remain a police officer at heart.
