Marian Rojas Estapé discusses luck and preparation

Psychiatrist Marian Rojas Estapé has shared insights regarding the nature of luck, drawing from her clinical experience and observations of human behavior. She suggests that luck is not merely an abstract or random occurrence, but a phenomenon closely linked to proactivity and personal development.

Citing the Stoic philosopher Seneca, Estapé noted that ‘luck is where preparation and opportunity meet.’ She emphasizes that individuals can influence their own outcomes by working hard, studying, and visualizing goals, which allows them to better recognize and seize opportunities when they arise.
