Mariana and São Francisco do Maranhão hold festivals July‑August 2026

The Festival de Inverno in Mariana, Minas Gerais, will continue through the end of July 2026. A new free Festival de Vinhos will debut in Praça da Sé from July 24‑26, offering wines, local gastronomy, artisanal crafts and live music performances by regional artists.

In São Francisco do Maranhão, the Festival de Verão runs on the Prainha do Rio Parnaíba until August 2, featuring acts such as Swing Guetto, Pisadinha de Barão, Matheus & Kauan and others. The event draws visitors to the riverside venue, boosting local tourism and the city’s economy.
