Mariana builds sustainable earth house in Argentina
Mariana, an Argentine woman originally from Santa Fe, has transitioned from a nomadic lifestyle to building a sustainable home in the mountainous valley of Traslasierra.
After years of traveling through Latin America with minimal resources, she settled in Los Hornillos to construct a house using cob, a traditional mixture of earth and wood. To provide light and views of the surrounding mountain peaks, she integrated 12 recycled windshields purchased at an auction into the walls of the structure.
