Mariana School of Trades seeks masters in five traditional crafts

The Escola de Ofícios Tradicionais de Mariana (EOTM) in Minas Gerais has launched a call for masters and professionals to register their expertise. The initiative aims to map individuals with significant knowledge in five specific areas: masonry, stonemasonry, carpentry, blacksmithing, and painting.

This mapping is part of a new phase for the institution to expand its training opportunities, focusing on construction, restoration, and the preservation of traditional techniques and materials. Professionals can submit their information via the school's website until October 19.
