Mariana Suárez Lloyd appointed Director of María Humphreys Hospital
The Chubut Government, through the Provincial Health Secretariat, has formally appointed accountant Mariana Suárez Lloyd as the General Director of the María Humphreys High Complexity Hospital in Trelew and the Northeast Decentralized Management Unit.
Suárez Lloyd, who previously served as director of the Puerto Madryn Zonal Hospital, aims to consolidate a regional health network that integrates primary care centers and rural hospitals. Her objectives include strengthening professional teams, improving inter-service communication, and advancing the institution's professionalization.
A new Board of Directors has also been installed, consisting of Matías Mendelevich (Associate Medical Director), Noelia Miranda (Associate Director of Nursing and Organization), Javier Domínguez (Associate Administrative-Accounting Director), Sebastián Fuentealba (Associate Director of Indirect Clinical Management), and Leonardo Turchi (Director of Human Resources). This leadership change occurs approximately one year after the hospital's formal opening in October 2025.
