Mariana Treviño Mentiras All Stars musical theater backstage controversy Mexico City

Mexican actress Mariana Treviño has addressed rumors regarding a purported physical altercation with a wardrobe staff member during a performance of the musical ‘Mentiras All Stars’ at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California.

Speculation arose following a viral video showing a tense moment during a rapid costume change. While some social media reports suggested Treviño may have struck a staff member, producer Alejandro Gou has denied these claims. Gou stated he was present during the incident and clarified that the actress’s abrupt movement was actually the act of throwing a wig to facilitate a quick change, rather than an assault on personnel.

Treviño has since used her social media platforms to dispel rumors of her departure from the production. She confirmed her continued participation in the musical, specifically promoting an upcoming performance scheduled for November 8 at the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City.
