Marianne Koch celebrates 95th birthday with new memoir

Marianne Koch, the former film star turned physician, author, and presenter, is celebrating her 95th birthday on August 19. To mark the occasion, she is releasing a new book titled ‘Mutig sein! - Erinnerungen an abenteuerliche 95 Jahre’ (Be Brave! - Memories of Adventurous 95 Years) on August 13.

Koch, who rose to fame in the 1950s and 1960s alongside actors such as Clint Eastwood and Curd Jürgens, famously left the film industry to pursue a career in medicine. Her new book, approximately 150 pages long, offers a reflection on her diverse life, featuring both humorous and serious episodes alongside private childhood photographs. She expressed a sense of gratitude regarding her life experiences and noted that she remains active and fit.
