Marianne Koch releases memoir reflecting on acting and medical career

German actress and physician Marianne Koch is releasing a new book titled ‘Mutig sein! Erinnerungen an abenteuerliche 95 Jahre’ (Be Brave! Memories of Adventurous 95 Years) to coincide with her 95th birthday.

In the memoir, Koch reflects on her unconventional life path, including her decision to return to medical school at age 41 after achieving fame as a post-war film star. She also discusses personal family revelations, such as discovering at age 12 that her biological father was a prominent gastroenterologist, Rudolf Schindler, rather than the man she grew up with.
