Marianne Rosenberg announces return to music after hiatus

German Schlager singer Marianne Rosenberg has addressed her recent absence from the public eye, describing it as a period of “retreat, pausing, and inventing new music and new lyrics.”

Through a message on Instagram, the 71-year-old artist informed fans that she is using this time to write and create new material. She reassured followers that she is not leaving the music industry, noting that she is currently in a creative phase of writing and feeling.

Rosenberg is scheduled to return to the stage in January at the Schlagernacht in Bernau bei Berlin.
