Marianne Vos confirmed for 2026 UCI Gravel World Championships
Dutch cycling champion Marianne Vos has confirmed her participation in the 2026 UCI Gravel World Championships, which will be held in Nannup, Western Australia, on October 10 and 11.
The event marks a historic milestone as the first time the UCI Gravel World Championships will take place outside of Europe. Vos, a 14-time world champion and two-time Olympic gold medalist, is seeking to become the first rider to win the gravel world title twice, having previously won the women's race in 2024.
The Nannup course is expected to be highly selective, consisting of more than 80 percent gravel roads with various climbs. Vos expressed enthusiasm for returning to Western Australia, citing positive memories from her previous competitions at the Tour of Margaret River.
