Mariano Díaz goes viral after unexpected fan interaction

Mariano Díaz, the Dominican Republic striker currently playing for Alavés and formerly of Real Madrid, became the subject of viral social media attention following a CONCACAF Nations League match against Haiti.

After the Dominican Republic suffered a 4-1 defeat, Díaz remained outside the stadium to interact with supporters. During a photo opportunity, a female fan approached him and kissed him on the lips. Rather than pulling away, Díaz responded by returning the kiss before continuing to pose for photographs with other fans.
