Mariano Iúdica reveals struggle with gout
Argentine television host Mariano Iúdica revealed during an appearance on América TV that he suffers from gout, a medical condition caused by the accumulation of uric acid in the joints. Iúdica shared his experience after journalist Rodrigo Lussich expressed concerns about similar pains in his own foot.
Iúdica described the physical sensation of the condition as being akin to “a drill with glass” in the affected area, stating that the intensity of the pain has caused him to cry. He noted that his symptoms were often triggered by dietary choices, specifically mentioning that consuming cured ham during trips abroad exacerbated his condition.
To manage the ailment, Iúdica emphasized the necessity of strict dietary restrictions—avoiding meats, seafood, and cured meats—and following medical treatments such as colchicine.
