Mariano Martínez found safe in Córdoba after disappearance

Mariano Martínez, a 21-year-old architecture student from the National University of La Plata (UNLP), has been found safe in the province of Córdoba after being missing since August 31.

Martínez disappeared after leaving his university in La Plata, where he had reported feeling unwell. His disappearance triggered an intensive search involving family, classmates, and law enforcement. Investigators reconstructed his movements using security cameras and public transport records, which showed him traveling through Punta Lara and toward Constitución in Buenos Aires.

Authorities in Córdoba located the student in the city of La Calera. Córdoba Security Minister Juan Pablo Quinteros confirmed that Martínez was found in good health and had traveled to the province of his own volition. Following his discovery, he was provided with medical attention and psychological support at the request of his family. The case has been referred to the judicial authorities in the Province of Buenos Aires to complete the necessary legal procedures.
