Mariano Peralta finds confidence with Persib Bandung

Argentine striker Mariano Peralta is gaining confidence following his recent performances with Persib Bandung. During the Dewata Challenge Series 2026 preseason tournament, Peralta scored a penalty goal in the 28th minute to help Persib secure a 3-0 victory against Sabah FC at Kapten I Wayan Dipta Stadium in Bali.

Peralta, who joined Persib from Borneo FC after being named the Super League's best player last season, stated that the goal was vital for both the team's win and his personal confidence during his adaptation period. He noted that his integration with the squad is improving as the team becomes more complete through training sessions in Bali.

Following his debut appearances in the Piala Presiden 2026 semifinals and final, Peralta is scheduled to play again in a preseason match against Bali United. Persib Bandung's next major competitive fixture is the AFC Champions League Two 2026/27 qualification match against Manila Digger on August 31.
