Mariano Peralta Joins Persib Bandung and Receives Heroic Fan Reception

Argentine striker Mariano Peralta arrived in Bandung on 27 July 2026 after a 31‑hour flight from Buenos Aires. The 28‑year‑old was greeted by an enthusiastic crowd of Persib supporters (Bobotoh) and signed a two‑year contract that runs until 2028. He was introduced to coach Igor Tolic and his new teammates before watching Persib’s President’s Cup match from the stadium stands.

On 30 July 2026 Peralta took part in his first training session with Persib at the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api complex, receiving a light programme to help him adapt. The squad is preparing for its final group‑stage match of the 2026 President’s Cup against Singapore’s Tampines Rovers on 31 July 2026 at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium. Peralta will wear the number 10 shirt for the Maung Bandung side.
