Mariano Werner joins healthy digital parenting initiative

Racing driver Mariano Werner has joined the ‘Compromiso por una Crianza Digital Saludable’ (Commitment to Healthy Digital Parenting) during educational workshops in Entre Ríos, Argentina. The initiative is part of the #HablemosDe campaign, organized by the Consejo General de Educación (CGE) and the Asociación Corredores de Turismo Carretera (ACTC).

The event, held at the Entre Ríos Police School, brought together over 200 students from technical schools and universities for training in vehicle mechanics, engineering, road safety, and motorsport security.

Werner emphasized the necessity of parental involvement regarding technology use, advocating for the ‘3, 6, 9, 12 rule.’ This guideline suggests no screen time before age three, no tablets before age six, supervised internet use until age nine, and social media access only after age twelve or thirteen. He also proposed that families dedicate one day per week to disconnecting completely from digital devices.
