Mariano Werner sanctioned in TC Pick Up racing

The ACTC advisory and supervisory commission has issued several sanctions following the TC Pick Up competition in Balcarce. Driver Mariano Werner has been fined 20 million pesos and ordered to start from the last position in his next final due to a violation of Article 36 of the 2026 TC Pick Up technical regulations regarding compression.

Werner is required to deposit the fine through the ACTC to the Fundación Favaloro before his next competition. Additionally, engine preparer Guillermo Pianca was fined 10 million pesos for the same technical infringement.

Other disciplinary actions include a fine and a last-place start for driver Marco Dianda for inappropriate statements affecting pilots and authorities, as well as a warning for Agustín Canapino following a dangerous maneuver during the start of the final.
