Marib holds funeral for Brigadier General Ahmed Buhaybah and four officers

A formal and public funeral procession was held in Marib for Brigadier General Ahmed Mohammed Buhaybah, a key figure of the Harib front, and four of his comrades. The officers—First Lieutenants Qusay Duihan, Mohammed Abu Asha, Talib Abu Asha, and Qasim al-Abbasi—were killed during the ‘Fajr al-Yaman’ operation against Houthi militias.

The ceremony was led by several high-ranking officials, including the Chief of the General Staff and Joint Operations Commander, Lieutenant General Saqr Hamoud bin Aziz, as well as the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior and the Undersecretary of Marib Governorate. The fallen officers were carried by an honor guard draped in the national flag.

During the proceedings, Lieutenant General bin Aziz praised the bravery and sacrifices of the deceased, stating they embodied loyalty to the nation. He emphasized that restoring the state and ending the Houthi rebellion requires continued struggle and sacrifice, calling on the Yemeni people to prepare for the ‘Fajr al-Yaman’ battle to reclaim national institutions and stability.
