Maribel Guardia faces restraining order in grandson custody dispute

Actress Maribel Guardia is facing a legal dispute regarding the custody of her grandson. Imelda Garza Tuñón, Guardia’s former daughter-in-law, has obtained a restraining order that prohibits Guardia from approaching the minor or speaking publicly about him for a period of three months.

The legal conflict follows a lawsuit filed by Guardia against Garza Tuñón for the alleged abandonment of the minor. In response, Garza Tuñón sought protection measures for herself and her son at the Reclusorio Norte in Mexico City. The restraining order also extends to Guardia’s husband, Marco Chacón, and her attorney, Alonso Beceiro.

Guardia has recently avoided press interactions to comply with these legal restrictions, including arriving at her musical performances in unmarked vehicles to avoid recognition.
