Maricá advances infrastructure works in Itaipuaçu

The Maricá municipal government is conducting simultaneous paving and urbanization works in the Itaipuaçu district. Projects are currently active in Jardim Atlântico Central, Jardim Atlântico Leste, Parque Vera Cruz, and Morada das Águias to improve road conditions and resident mobility.

Mayor Washington Quaquá, who inspected the sites, stated that the city is implementing a large-scale infrastructure package that includes drainage, sanitation, bridge construction, and health units. Honorato Fernandes, the Secretary of Major Works, noted that multiple interventions are being carried out at once to accelerate the recovery of the region. The municipal government aims to complete paving throughout the city by the end of 2028.
