Maricá advances paving and drainage works in Itaipuaçu

The municipality of Maricá is advancing infrastructure works in the Itaipuaçu district, specifically in Jardim Atlântico Leste. The project involves paving more than seven kilometers of streets to address long-standing issues such as mud, potholes, and flooding.

In addition to asphalt, the intervention includes the installation of a new drainage system to improve water runoff and prevent accumulation during rainy periods. The project also features the construction of new sidewalks equipped with tactile paving to enhance accessibility for visually impaired pedestrians and improve safety for children and the elderly.
