Maricá begins distribution of new Mumbuca social currency cards

The Maricá City Government has begun distributing new versions of the Mumbuca social currency cards. Active beneficiaries can collect their new cards at the central branch of Banco Mumbuca, located in the city center.

To collect the card, account holders must present their original identity document (RG) and CPF. The initiative aims to increase autonomy and security for users, providing a physical payment method for those with limited internet access or low familiarity with mobile applications. Matheus Gaúcho, Secretary of Solidarity Economy and Social Entrepreneurship, noted that the cards provide individual security through personal passwords.
