Maricá bus terminal leisure space reaches 551 services

The Espaço Brincarte, a dedicated children's area located in the Maricá Bus Terminal, has recorded 551 services since its inauguration in April. The facility provides leisure activities, sensory toys, and cognitive stimulation to make the waiting period for public transportation more comfortable for children and their guardians.

Of the total services provided, 100 were for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The initiative has seen an 80% weekly return rate among families. The space operates Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and requires children to be accompanied by a responsible adult.
