Cultural festivals and educational workshops held across Brazil and Portugal
Various cultural and educational activities are taking place across Brazil and Portugal. In Brazil, Senac is hosting over 240 free workshops in seven cities covering gastronomy, technology, and health. In Maricá, the Planetarium is offering free lunar eclipse observations with telescopes and mobile laboratories. Marília is hosting cinema-focused events, including a workshop on scriptwriting and special screenings at the Clube de Cinema de Marília. Other regional highlights include a family farming fair in Itaipuaçu, inclusive cinema sessions for individuals with autism in Aparecida de Goiânia, and youth-led audiovisual showcases by Instituto JCPM in Recife. In Ubatuba, the 18th Caiçarada festival will feature traditional music, capoeira, and local gastronomy.
In Portugal, the VIDE Festival is celebrating its fifth anniversary in Castelo de Vide with street art, photography exhibitions, and sound installations. Additionally, the Academia do Fado is performing at the Crato Craft and Gastronomy Fair to celebrate Portuguese identity.
