Maricá launches free professional training courses

The city of Maricá has launched several professional training initiatives aimed at increasing local employment opportunities. Through the Qualifica Maricá program, the municipal government is offering free construction industry courses in Itaipuaçu, including training for Warehouse Keepers, Construction Assistants, and Carpenters. These classes, which begin in mid-September, are available in afternoon and evening shifts for residents aged 18 and older with at least a 5th-grade education.

Additionally, the Casas da Juventude program is providing diverse vocational workshops for youth aged 15 to 29. These offerings span various modern sectors, including e-sports, artificial intelligence, IoT, streaming, and audiovisual filming and editing. Other available courses include language studies, photography, and sports such as karate and skateboarding. These programs are designed to connect young residents with contemporary market demands and digital economy skills.
