Acroarte honors Maridalia Hernández and other figures at XV Journalism Merit Gala

The Association of Art Critics (Acroarte) held its XV Gala of the Acroarte Journalism Merit Award in Santo Domingo, honoring several prominent figures for their contributions to Dominican culture and society.

Singer Maridalia Hernández received a special musical tribute recognizing her four decades of career, including her work with the group 440 and her victory at the Viña del Mar Festival. The tribute featured performances by artists such as Frank Ceara and Pavel Núñez.

Other honorees included art critic Alexis Beltré for his 30-year career in communication, and José Miguel Bonetti Du-Breil for his diverse contributions to business, sports, and cinema. The gala also recognized Frank Rainieri, José Monegro, and several other journalists and the National School of Speech.
