Marie Brizard Wine & Spirits posts French sales growth in Q2 2026

Marie Brizard Wine & Spirits reported a 6% like‑for‑like increase in French sales in the second quarter of 2026, driven by the gradual return of its William Peel whisky to retail shelves, new rum‑agency brand deals and a fresh Cognac industrial services contract. Group revenue for the quarter reached €45.3 million, up 0.5% organically, with France generating €18.6 million – a 6% rise – and on‑trade sales climbing 10.1% for the half‑year and 16% in Q2.

The international segment continued to decline, with sales falling 3.1% to €26.7 million, pulling overall group revenue for the first half of 2026 down 4.4% year‑on‑year to €84 million. International revenue slipped 8.3% to €48.4 million, reflecting weaker performance in markets such as the United Kingdom, Benelux, Denmark, Lithuania and Brazil, while modest gains were seen in Spain, the United States and several European countries.
