Marie-Cécile Mackouily Voumbo elected head of Club 2002 PUR France-Europe

Marie-Cécile Mackouily Voumbo has been elected as the first female president of the France-Europe Federation of the Club 2002 Parti pour l’unité et la République (PUR). The election took place on October 3 in the 15th arrondissement of Paris during a general assembly attended by party officials, militants, and representatives of the Congolese Republic's embassy in France.

Mackouily Voumbo, who is also the founder of the association Afrique Terre Origine, stated that she views her new role as a “collective mission.” Her leadership mandate is expected to focus on dialogue, engagement, and the mobilization of the Congolese diaspora in Europe. She aims to strengthen the links between Congolese citizens living in Europe and their country of origin while promoting biculturalism as a social asset.
