Marie Trintignant buried at Père‑Lachaise as her children’s lives are profiled

Actress Marie Trintignant, who died in August 2003, was interred five days later in the 45th division of Paris’s Père‑Lachaise Cemetery, fulfilling her mother Nadine’s wish to keep her close to the capital. Her father, Jean‑Louis Trintignant, had preferred a family vault in Nîmes, but the final decision placed Marie among other French cultural figures.

A separate piece looks at the four sons she left behind. Roman Kolinka, a former child actor, now runs a restaurant in Uzès; Paul Cluzet, raised mainly by his father François Cluzet, published his first novel in 2024; Léon Othnin‑Girard works as a chef; and Jules Benchetrit lives a low‑profile life. The article outlines their varied paths since their mother’s death.
