Marigold launches DREAM STAR GP 2026 league at Korakuen Hall

The Marigold women's professional wrestling promotion launched its DREAM STAR GP 2026 league at Korakuen Hall. The tournament features a record 24 athletes divided into four blocks, with the top two from each block advancing to a single-day final tournament on September 20.

In the League C main event, UN Champion Victoria Yuzuki secured a victory over Mai Sakurai with a cross-arm suplex hold in 11 minutes and 10 seconds. Following the match, Yuzuki expressed her ambition to dominate the summer and defend her championship belt.

In League D, Koki Tenrei defeated her tag team partner, Chika Goto, in a match between the “Twin Towers.” Tenrei capitalized on an opening to secure a pinfall victory, noting that the win allowed her to avenge a previous loss to Goto in the tournament's inaugural year. Tenrei expressed her desire for both partners to advance to the finals.
