Marijo Tot responds to Zlatan Nalić after being called ‘some man’ on TV

NK Široki Brijeg coach Marijo Tot has issued a strong response to comments made by Zlatan Nalić during an Arena Sport television broadcast. Nalić referred to the current Široki Brijeg coach as ‘some man’ who arrived to claim the laurels of his predecessor.

In a social media statement, Tot addressed the remarks, highlighting his extensive coaching career. He listed his previous roles, which include working with Dinamo Zagreb, Lokomotiva, Istra, the Croatian women's national team, and clubs in China and Malaysia. Tot also noted his involvement in Iran's historic qualification for the World Cup and his role in the successes of HNK Rijeka.

Tot expressed disappointment that Nalić would not use his actual name, suggesting a personal connection or prior acquaintance. He concluded by emphasizing that he is currently building a tactically potent squad composed of young players at Široki Brijeg.
