Marika Gombitová declines duet with Petr Hůlka

Singer Marika Gombitová has declined a proposal to perform the duet ‘Neznámý pár’ with Petr Hůlka. The song, which Gombitová originally wrote for herself and the late Karel Gott, remains a commitment she intends to honor by not performing it with anyone else.

Gombitová is currently preparing for upcoming birthday concerts, including a return to the O2 Arena in Prague on October 10. To prepare, she is undergoing rigorous daily vocal training and physical exercises to strengthen her diaphragm.

During the upcoming performances, Petr Hůlka will instead perform the duet with Kamila Nývltová. Gombitová noted that she considers herself ‘Czechoslovak’ and is offering special ticket promotions for the Prague shows.
