Marika Koroibete signs for the Ospreys

The Ospreys have signed Australian international Marika Koroibete ahead of the upcoming United Rugby Championship season. The 34-year-old wing joins the Welsh side as their fourth international signing of the summer and their third from Australia.

Koroibete, a dual-code player who transitioned from rugby league to union, has earned 63 caps for the Wallabies and is a two-time recipient of the John Eales Medal, winning the award in 2019 and 2022.

Ospreys head coach Mark Jones highlighted Koroibete’s explosive talent and his potential to serve as a mentor to younger players. Koroibete expressed his excitement about joining the club, noting its rich history of hosting legendary overseas players.
