Marileidy Paulino honored by Banco Popular for historic 2026 season

Banco Popular Dominicano has recognized Olympic triple champion and brand ambassador Marileidy Paulino for her historic 2026 athletics season. The recognition ceremony, held at Torre Popular and led by Executive President Christopher Paniagua, celebrated Paulino's exceptional international performance and milestones.

During the 2026 season, Paulino maintained an undefeated record with 15 international victories. Her achievements include gold medals at the Santo Domingo 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games, where she set a new games record in the 400 meters. Additionally, she secured her fourth consecutive Diamond League title, was crowned world champion at the World Athletics Ultimate Championship in Budapest, and won the Athlos London 2026 event for the third consecutive year.

Christopher Paniagua praised the sprinter for elevating the reputation of the Dominican Republic and serving as an inspiration to new generations, noting that her dedication embodies the values of integrity and constant improvement.
