Marilândia do Sul hosts Paraná Bom de Bola macroregional phase as Itajaí secures JASC bocha vice‑championship

Marilândia do Sul in Brazil hosted the macroregional phase of the 6th Paraná Bom de Bola tournament over the weekend, featuring more than 400 athletes competing in Sub‑16 and Sub‑20 male categories, a 15+ women's division, and senior Swiss football matches. In Santa Catarina, the men’s bocha team from Itajaí finished as vice‑champion in the microrregional stage of the 65th Jogos Abertos de Santa Catarina (JASC). The team secured a place in the upcoming regional phase after victories in trio, individual, and doubles matches, despite a final loss to Nova Trento. The regional round is scheduled for mid‑September in Jaraguá do Sul, leading up to the state finals in November.
