Marilyn Manson jury trial scheduled for 2027

A Los Angeles court has scheduled a jury trial for musician Marilyn Manson, set to begin on November 15, 2027. The trial stems from a civil lawsuit filed in 2021 by Ashley Walters, Manson’s former personal assistant who worked for him between 2010 and 2011.

Walters alleges that Manson committed sexual assault, sexual harassment, physical and emotional violence, and various violations of California civil law during her employment. The case has faced multiple delays and dismissals, primarily due to statutes of limitations. However, the proceedings were reinstated following the passage of California’s AB 250 law, which provides a window for adult survivors of sexual abuse to pursue older claims.

Manson has consistently denied all allegations. His attorney, Howard King, stated that they intend to file a motion for summary judgment, expressing confidence that the case will not ultimately reach a jury.
