Marilyn Manson releases new single “Exit Wound” and announces album “One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2”

Marilyn Manson issued the single “Exit Wound” on 12 June 2024, debuting the music video alongside the announcement of his forthcoming album One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2. The album, a direct sequel to the 2024 Chapter 1 release, is set for 14 August 2024 on Nuclear Blast and is again produced with longtime collaborator Tyler Bates, who recently stepped back from live performance with the band.

Manson described the new material as the culmination of his story, saying he “used every stone thrown at me to sharpen his edges.” The release coincides with the start of his summer touring schedule: a U.S. “Freaks on Parade” leg beginning 20 August in West Palm Beach and a European leg that includes a first‑time concert in Zagreb’s Arena on 16 August, following shows in Spain, France, Italy and Poland.
