Marin Držić Theatre to perform in Macedonia

The Macedonian National Theatre will host the Marin Držić Theatre (KMD) from Dubrovnik on September 29. The Croatian ensemble is scheduled to perform ‘See How Lokrum Washes His Teeth’, a production based on the novel by Croatian writer Ivana Lovrić Jović.

Directed by Paolo Tišljaric, the play is an intimate drama exploring themes of memory, grief, and family connections through four generations of women. The production is a co-production between the Marin Držić Theatre and the Dubrovnik Summer Festival. This visit serves as part of an ongoing international cultural exchange between the two prominent theatrical institutions.
