Marina Bay managers face trial over concert overcrowding allegations

Two managers of the Marina Bay establishment in Marina di Ravenna are facing legal proceedings regarding the unauthorized opening of a public entertainment venue. The case stems from a Capo Plaza concert held in July 2023.

Local police allege that approximately 900 people attended the event, which significantly exceeded the authorized capacity of 440 people. Investigators used aerial photography and crowd density assessments to support the claim that the limit was breached. The defendants are contesting a criminal decree that imposed a fine of 480 euros each, with their defense maintaining that capacity limits were respected.
