Marina di Ravenna launches low‑cost bike rentals and hosts youth padel tournament

The Welcome Hub Parco Marittimo in Marina di Ravenna is offering classic bicycles for €3 per day throughout August. Managed by the Cooperativa sociale San Vitale under the EU Footprints project and the Ravenna municipality, the scheme aims to promote sustainable mobility for residents and visitors. The hub also provides a mobile workshop for minor repairs and tyre service.

From 6 to 9 August the Heroe’s Marina Padel Center will stage a leg of the international Promises Tour, featuring 170 young padel players in four age categories. The event, praised by Mayor Alessandro Barattoni as a catalyst for local development, expects about a thousand spectators and seeks to boost the sport’s growth in the region. Organisers hope the tournament will return in future years.
